I think it is helpful for people to be able to understand it is okay to feel our feelings, just not to be overwhelmed by them. :)

I was just reading your story along with Charise’s…it’s still not something I can do without crying. I don’t even remember the exact date of my miscarriage…I know it was over 3 years ago, but it’s still something I barely allow myself to think about…something I’ve tried to push out of my mind and my experience.
It’s still something that’s hard for me to forgive in the areas that Charise talks about in her post.
But I do thank you for sharing your story Julia…it’s something that needs to be told. I may be able to share mine someday…I may not. But this helps me heal.

I wanted to share to help those who have been through it. It is hard to write (which is the reason I still haven’t finished my story yet, that and it’s long) but it helps, too. I have found, though, that everyone experiences and needs to work through the emotions differently. Some need to do it privately and some, like me, need to talk about it. Tomorrow is actually what would have been the due date 4 years ago and we always have a picnic under the tree we planted on that day.
